Acceptance of terms
By accessing or using GhostCoach (“the Service”), operated by GhostCoach (“we”, “us”, “our”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service. These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia.
The service
GhostCoach is an AI-assisted squash coaching platform. You upload a video of a squash match and we generate automated analysis including player movement metrics, rally statistics, a coaching report, and highlight clips. The Service is currently in private Beta and is provided as-is.
Eligibility and accounts
- You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service.
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
- You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
- You must notify us immediately at support@playghostcoach.com if you suspect unauthorised access to your account.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Upload content you do not have the right to share
- Upload videos containing minors without the consent of a parent or guardian
- Attempt to reverse engineer, scrape, or extract data from the Service in an automated manner
- Use the Service to harass, defame, or harm any person
- Upload videos that contain illegal content or that violate the privacy of individuals who have not consented to being recorded
- Circumvent any access controls or security measures
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you breach these terms.
Your content
You retain ownership of any videos you upload. By uploading content, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to process that content solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you. We do not claim ownership of your videos and do not use them for any purpose other than generating your analysis. Raw videos are automatically deleted seven days after your analysis completes.
Coaching reports and accuracy
Coaching reports are generated automatically using AI and computer vision. They are intended as a supplementary training aid only. They do not constitute professional sports coaching advice. Results may contain errors or inaccuracies. We make no representations about the accuracy, completeness, or fitness for purpose of any analysis output. You should not rely solely on GhostCoach output to make decisions about training, injury prevention, or competition preparation.
Intellectual property
All software, design, branding, and content created by GhostCoach (excluding your uploaded content) is owned by us and protected by Australian and international intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from our intellectual property without written permission.
Service availability
We aim to provide reliable access to the Service but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. The Service may be suspended temporarily for maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control. We are not liable for any loss arising from unavailability of the Service.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by the Australian Consumer Law (Schedule 2 of the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth)), we exclude all implied conditions and warranties. Nothing in these terms limits any right you may have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot be excluded.
Where our liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the resupply of the relevant service or the cost of having the service supplied again, at our option. In no event are we liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss.
Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising out of your use of the Service, your violation of these terms, or your infringement of any third-party rights.
Termination
You may close your account at any time by contacting us. We may suspend or terminate your access at any time if you breach these terms or if we discontinue the Service. On termination, your data will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. Any dispute arising from these terms or your use of the Service will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales. We encourage you to contact us at support@playghostcoach.com before initiating any formal proceedings.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify registered users by email of any material changes at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
